Men are suffering mentally as a result of society's unreasonable expectations for them to show their masculinity. These societal expectations centered on manhood have become a hardship, lingering behind them since they were kids and remaining with them as they grow older. Men are supposed to change their thoughts and develop a mentality in order to conform to their gender standards. However, failing to do so would result in a lack of acceptance and affirmation of their masculinity.
Our society must take into account that being a man does not exclude one from showing emotion or crying. Rather than categorizing boys and men as "good" or "bad," "strong" or "weak," it is crucial to acknowledge that men, like women, have numerous features that stretch far beyond their gender's conventional norms. We need men to be role models for the succeeding generation. As Ron Blake stated, it all starts with training boys to be humans rather than being men.
For some men, putting an end to toxic masculinity might be difficult. We may start this process by listening, affirming, and giving compassion to other guys, demonstrating that it is safe to communicate to you about their feelings.
